Purchasing Coordinator – US Healthcare (Remote, EST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations for US‑based long‑term care and skilled nursing facilities. The role is fully remote, works EST business hours, and requires strong communication and critical‑thinking abilities to manage purchase requests and vendor interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review purchase orders from healthcare facilities, ensuring budget compliance, availability, and alignment with purchasing trends before processing.
• Manage tickets for non‑catalogue items, source products, obtain approvals, and complete purchases.
• Monitor equipment rentals, track usage, maintain minimum levels, and coordinate timely returns.
• Process electronic invoices, match them to purchase orders, sync with accounting software, and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Knowledge of purchasing or procurement processes, preferably within healthcare (LTC or SNF) environments.
• Comfortable navigating systems and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.
