Project Officer O&M (Renewables)

About the role

The Project Officer will support the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team for renewable energy assets, ensuring smooth administrative, coordination and reporting processes across solar PV, storage and wind projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist daily administration of O&M projects, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on actions.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, trackers and O&M action lists, and support contractor coordination across hydro, solar PV and wind assets.
• Collect lifecycle data, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports and ensure data integrity in asset management systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of contracts, permits, warranties and compliance documentation, and support environmental and social compliance monitoring.
• Liaise with internal teams (Asset Management, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, HSE) and external stakeholders such as contractors, OEMs, offtakers and local communities.
• Track operational budgets, review contractor invoices, support contract administration and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Project Administration, Project Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in energy, infrastructure or engineering.
• Experience in renewable energy or O&M is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with document control tools such as New Prodom.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, SAP or similar) is a plus.
