Project Manager – Transformative Software Projects

About the role

This 12‑month contract opportunity is for a Project Manager who will lead transformative software development initiatives for Africa’s leading financial and healthcare services provider. Based in Cape Town with a hybrid work model, you will guide projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring they align with the organization’s new way of working.

Key responsibilities

• Take projects from inception and ideation to final delivery of working solutions.
• Prepare business cases and feasibility studies for senior executives.
• Analyse project impacts on the business and recommend required actions.
• Engage and manage senior stakeholders on timelines and delivery expectations.
• Oversee the execution of large‑scale, transformative IT projects across multiple divisions.

Required profile

• Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, CAPM, or PMBOK).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale software development projects.
