Project Manager – Consultancy & Strategic Projects

About the role

Hunterlodge, a leading UK advertising agency, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own the planning, coordination and delivery of its consultancy and strategic projects. You will act as the operational hub, ensuring multiple bespoke initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent consultancy and strategic projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones and resource schedules.
• Coordinate internal specialists across strategy, content, AI, creative, media, SEO and data.
• Ensure projects meet agreed quality standards, budgets and timelines while managing risks.
• Oversee delivery of AI visibility programmes, higher‑education listings management, strategic reviews, audience research, content strategy workshops, AI SEO, brand positioning, digital transformation initiatives and bespoke consultancy assignments.
• Apply formal project‑management disciplines, maintain documentation, reporting and governance.
• Chair project meetings, track action items and monitor dependencies and critical paths.
• Drive continuous improvement, introduce efficiencies and manage external suppliers.
• Produce regular status reports for clients and senior leadership, monitoring budgets, utilisation and profitability.

Required profile

• Experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering consultancy‑focused projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
• Capability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high‑quality standards.
