Project Lead – North West Formation (Education)

About the role

The Project Lead – North West Formation will coordinate formation‑related projects across schools in the North‑West region of South Africa. This contract, on‑site position focuses on planning, delivering and evaluating initiatives that strengthen the Catholic ethos, staff and learner formation, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with school leaders, staff and community partners to define project scope and objectives.
• Organise and facilitate workshops, training sessions and formation activities.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Trust policies.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Gather feedback, identify best practices and support continuous improvement of formation programmes.
• Collaborate with central Trust teams and local stakeholders to ensure sustainability and impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project leadership or coordination within education, community development or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with capacity to handle multiple workstreams.
• Commitment to Catholic education and the Trust’s mission and values.
• Relevant academic or professional qualifications (e.g., education, social sciences, project management) are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across the North‑West region and work on‑site.
