Project Foreman – Construction Site Leader

About the role

Coastal Waterproofing & Painting is seeking a dedicated Project Foreman to lead on‑site operations in Cape Town. This full‑time, on‑site position involves supervising teams, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities on construction sites, ensuring work aligns with project specifications.
• Supervise and motivate crews, allocating tasks and resources efficiently.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and clients to resolve on‑site issues promptly.
• Maintain strict safety standards and enforce compliance with regulations.
• Manage equipment, including heavy machinery, and oversee maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Monitor workmanship quality and conduct regular inspections.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory experience in construction or related fields.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications are a plus.
