Professional Nurse – Medical Ward

About the role
Mediclinic is seeking a Professional Nurse to work on a medical ward, delivering safe and comprehensive nursing care as part of a multi‑professional team. The role involves coordinating nursing activities, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi‑professional team.
- Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
- Facilitate a positive client experience by creating a conducive environment.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
- Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
- Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.
Required profile
- Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse, a 4‑year Nursing Diploma, or a Bachelor of Nursing.
- No minimum experience required.
- Basic life support training (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialised wards).
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
