Production Manager – Shift Operations

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the shift operations of the Production / Processing Department at our Botshabelo Processing Plant. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of efficiency, safety, and compliance with standard operating procedures while motivating the team to achieve production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities during assigned shift, ensuring targets are met.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and follow standard operating procedures to optimise workflow.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply teams to minimise downtime.
• Lead, coach, and motivate staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Track production metrics and generate shift reports for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing production or processing operations in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and SOP compliance.
• Excellent leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
