Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer supports manufacturing operations by analysing data, optimising processes and driving digital transformation. The role aims to boost efficiency, cut waste, improve quality and enable data‑driven decisions through Industrial IoT and smart manufacturing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, waste and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct time, motion and workflow studies and support injection moulding optimisation.
• Design and improve production layouts, material flow and ergonomics.
• Collect, clean and analyse production and machine data; develop dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel).
• Track KPIs such as OEE, downtime, scrap rates and support predictive analytics.
• Assist in implementing IIoT solutions, integrating sensors, PLCs and machines into data platforms.
• Support Lean, Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives, including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to automation and digitalisation projects across the plant.

Required profile

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, logistics and IT teams.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
