Production Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Production Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for collecting, validating, and analysing production data to ensure accurate reporting, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyse production data from multiple systems.
• Compile and track daily, weekly, and monthly production KPIs.
• Develop KPI reports, dashboards, and trend analyses using tools such as QlikView.
• Reconcile production inputs and outputs with Finance, Warehouse, and Stores data.
• Support root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives using 5‑Why and Operational Excellence methods.
• Ensure accuracy of LMS and QlikView production data.
• Prepare production reports and meeting minutes.
• Provide data support for CAPEX, maintenance, and asset‑care activities.
• Conduct weekly stock counts and reconciliations.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational standards.

Required profile

• Matric/Diploma in Production Management (NQF 5) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production KPIs.
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence principles.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• QlikView (or similar BI reporting tool).
