Process Operator – Production Line

About the role

Premier FMCG is seeking a Process Operator to keep its production line running smoothly in accordance with standard operating procedures. The role is essential to maintaining capacity utilisation and product quality within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of the production line following SOPs.
• Maintain capacity utilisation targets.
• Apply safe working practices and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Follow and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Attend Invocoms and report any deviations.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• 1–2 years experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure, self‑motivated and attentive to detail.
• Equipment knowledge, numerical ability and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability and respect for safety.
• Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, weekends and public holidays in a hot, noisy, flour‑dust environment.
