Private Tax Senior Associate

About the role

As a Private Tax Senior Associate at PwC, you will provide personalised tax planning and compliance services to high‑net‑worth individuals and privately‑owned businesses. You will build meaningful client relationships while developing your technical expertise and personal brand within the Private Tax practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and perform corporate tax accounting assignments.
• Manage and perform audit of tax assignments.
• Prepare, review and submit income tax and provisional tax returns for corporate clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships, understanding their business context.
• Liaise with SARS, handling queries and ensuring compliance.
• Engage in technical discussions with colleagues and clients and draft written technical responses.
• Manage multiple client engagements, budgets and production goals while adhering to firm risk policies.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting completed.
• Post‑graduate degree or diploma in taxation (or currently studying).
• Completed SAIT articles and at least 1 year post‑article experience in a corporate income tax role.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality outcomes.
