Creditors Manager

About the role

The Creditors Manager leads and oversees the full accounts payable function, ensuring accurate, complete and timely processing of all supplier transactions across the hotel operations environment. You will maintain strong financial controls, ensure compliance with internal policies, enable efficient supplier payments and safeguard the integrity of financial records while supporting cash‑flow management and procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are captured accurately and processed before month‑end cut‑off.
• Match supplier invoices to purchase orders in Business Central, enforcing procurement controls and accuracy across all entities.
• Lead creditor record keeping by reconciling supplier statements, resolving discrepancies and keeping accounts up‑to‑date for timely payment.
• Manage and approve supplier payments, ensuring correct allocation, refunds and commissions while aligning with cash‑flow requirements and internal controls.
• Resolve supplier and operational queries, including missing invoices, billing disputes and service confirmations, collaborating with stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the creditors team, driving accuracy, discipline, accountability and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Matric required; Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance advantageous.
• 4‑6+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or Creditors, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong expertise in AP processes: invoice capture, matching, reconciliations and payments.
• Understanding of financial controls, audit requirements and compliance.
• Experience leading a creditors/accounts payable team across multiple entities and high transaction volumes.

Required skills

• Business Central or similar ERP system.
• Advanced Excel and strong computer literacy.
