Primary School Teacher – Johannesburg South/East (Talent Pool)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking dynamic Primary School Teachers for its Johannesburg South/East Region Talent Pool for 2026. Teachers will deliver blended learning, combining classroom instruction with online components, to foster scholar achievement and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver in‑person and distance learning lessons for core subjects and high‑impact grades.
• Implement project‑based and differentiated instruction using data‑driven decisions and technology.
• Lead grade‑wide or subject‑wide initiatives such as moderation, data tracking, and Individualised Behaviour and Learning Plans (IBLPs).
• Facilitate character development sessions and scholar reflection activities.
• Administer formative and termly assessments, analyse scholar data, and design support programmes for low‑ and high‑performing scholars.
• Participate in professional development, co‑lead instructional coaching, and contribute to resource creation.

Required profile

• Qualified primary school teacher with a passion for blended learning.
• Ability to maintain high expectations for classroom culture, behaviour, and academic growth.
• Strong organisational and collaborative skills to work with principals, assistant principals, and peers.
• Commitment to SPARK Schools’ mission of affordable, high‑quality education.
