Primary School English Teacher (Temporary)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a dynamic Primary School English Teacher on a temporary basis to join the Ferndale campus. Reporting to the Principal or Assistant Principal, you will play a pivotal role in driving scholar achievement through blended learning and data‑driven instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver English lessons both in‑person and via distance learning platforms.
• Teach core English curriculum and support high‑impact grades.
• Deliver academic, club and enrichment sessions aligned with SPARK’s pedagogical standards.
• Implement place‑based education and curriculum enrichment activities.
• Utilise project‑based learning and technology to personalise instruction.
• Make data‑driven decisions to differentiate teaching and support individual learners.
• Lead grade‑wide or subject‑wide initiatives such as moderation and data tracking.
• Design and implement Individualised Behaviour and Learning Plans (IBLPs).
• Co‑lead professional development sessions and provide instructional coaching.
• Monitor scholar progress through formative and termly assessments and analyse data to inform interventions.
