OHS Training Facilitator (Epping)

About the role

The Human Resources department is seeking a professional, methodical OHS Training Facilitator to deliver and moderate a wide range of safety and equipment training programmes in Epping. The successful candidate will be accredited to present the listed unit standards and ensure learners are trained, assessed and moderated in line with SA Metal and SAQA best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and ensure all training materials, stationery and equipment are ready and in excellent condition before each session.
• Facilitate, assess and moderate programmes according to SA Metal and SAQA standards.
• Provide administrative support, including learner registration and assessment guidance.
• Create a positive learning environment that motivates delegates and clarifies assessment requirements.
• Adhere strictly to Occupational Health & Safety regulations and the National Code of Practice.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Registered Assessor and Moderator with TETA, CETA and HW SETA.
• Certified Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator with ETDP SETA.
• Strong knowledge of driven machinery regulations and relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).
