About the role
The PLC Technician will design, program, and maintain automated manufacturing processes for an automotive environment. The role combines electrical, mechanical, and software engineering to ensure reliable production equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new automated processes using PLC programming and architectural design principles.
- Create and program HMI, MMI, OIS, and OIP interfaces, including graphic design.
- Maintain PLC programs, documentation, and provide technical support to production and field service teams.
- Install and commission mechanical components of automated systems.
Required profile
- Electrical or Millwright qualification (or equivalent) with PLC technical certification.
- 5–10 years of hands‑on PLC programming experience in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and robot programming.
- Strong mechanical expertise to assemble and troubleshoot equipment.
Required skills
- PLC programming (ladder logic and related languages).
- HMI/MMI/OIP development and graphic design.
- AutoCAD drafting.
- Robot programming.
- Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.
