Planner – Demand & Supply Planning

About the role

Fruitways is seeking a proactive Planner to join its Commercial Department in Somerset West. You will translate market requirements into short‑ and medium‑term demand plans, ensuring the right fruit products are available for our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rolling demand plan using inputs from sales, quality and production teams.
• Generate and manage packing instructions to guarantee timely stock replenishment for the sales force.
• Continuously align product supply with evolving market needs to maximise sales opportunities across multiple regions.
• Collaborate closely with production facilities to adjust packing instructions as market conditions change.
• Monitor market and industry trends, providing insights to support commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Logistics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the fruit industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across all organisational levels.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market signals.

Required skills

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
