Pharmacy Sales Representative

About the role

The Pharmacy Sales Representative will drive product growth by engaging with existing and potential pharmacy customers across South Africa. Working fully remotely, you will develop sales plans, deliver tailored presentations, and build lasting relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned territory, using personalized communication and innovative techniques.
• Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with pharmacy professionals and other healthcare customers.
• Conduct scheduled and ad‑hoc sales presentations and training sessions, highlighting product benefits and competitive advantages.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and internal teams to create customized sales campaigns and support materials.
• Visit customer locations (virtually or in‑person) to gather market intelligence, monitor order status, and assess competitive activity.
• Negotiate visibility agreements and coordinate with third‑party service providers for point‑of‑sale displays.
• Prepare detailed sales activity reports, forecast performance, and provide market insights to management.
• Continuously adjust territory coverage and sales approaches to capture new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in sales or client‑facing roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency with sales technologies and CRM systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Customer‑focused attitude with professional demeanor.
