Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

The Commercial Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end commercial performance of E‑XHALE’s vape and nicotine distribution business across South Africa and the wider Southern Africa region. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role combines sales operations, national store distribution, and full P&L responsibility with a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a structured sales process from lead generation through account retention.
• Own the CRM system, ensuring data integrity, pipeline visibility and accurate stage management.
• Develop sales reporting frameworks and provide timely commercial intelligence to the Managing Director.
• Oversee national store distribution, creating delivery schedules that prevent stock‑outs and over‑supply.
• Monitor fulfilment performance, proof of delivery and resolve short‑delivery issues.
• Identify cost‑efficiency opportunities within the distribution operation while maintaining service levels.
• Assume full ownership of the commercial P&L, monitoring revenue, margin and cost performance against budget.
• Provide accurate revenue forecasting aligned with monthly and quarterly financial planning cycles.

Required profile

• Senior commercial professional with proven experience in sales operations, distribution management and P&L accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive strategic client relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with capability to produce accurate commercial intelligence and forecasts.
• Willingness to travel nationally and cross‑border as required.
