People Development Manager

About the role

As the People Development Manager at Mama Shelter, you will bring the brand’s vibrant culture to life through learning, development and engaging team experiences. You will help employees build confidence, sharpen skills and unlock their potential while keeping everything bold, playful and authentically Mama.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning and development programmes aligned with Mama’s culture and business priorities.
• Identify development needs across departments and create practical solutions.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction and ongoing learning experiences, ensuring mandatory training and compliance are met.
• Create fun, relevant and memorable team experiences that build connection, belonging and employee sentiment.
• Support managers in identifying high‑potential talent, coordinate career development, succession planning and internal mobility.
• Promote a culture of coaching, feedback and continuous development.

Required profile

• Passion for people development and creating engaging learning experiences.
• Ability to translate Mama’s personality, values and ways of working into concrete initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
