People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

As the People & Culture Coordinator at Mama Shelter, you will be the friendly hub that keeps our team’s experience smooth, engaging and aligned with the brand’s vibrant spirit. You will support onboarding, day‑to‑day HR administration and employee engagement, ensuring every team member feels welcomed and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, seamless journey for team members from onboarding through their tenure.
• Serve as the first point of contact for everyday HR queries, policies, benefits and general requests.
• Maintain accurate employee records, files and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
• Prepare letters, certificates, reports and other employee‑related documents.
• Support attendance, leave management and other people‑related administrative tasks.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring all pre‑employment paperwork is completed and new hires feel part of the Mama community from day one.
• Manage off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews and final documentation.
• Assist with team engagement initiatives and cultural events to reinforce an inclusive workplace.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and able to build trust with colleagues.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
