About the role

Our client, a clothing manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Pattern Maker to join their team in Randburg. The role focuses on creating accurate production patterns for corporate clothing garments, ensuring they meet design, fit, quality and cost requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop precise production patterns based on design concepts and technical specifications.
• Ensure garments comply with customer requirements, fit standards, manufacturing capabilities, quality standards and cost objectives.
• Support efficient production processes throughout the product development cycle.
• Collaborate closely with Designers, Sample Machinists, Graders, Marker Makers, Production and Quality Assurance teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of pattern‑making experience in clothing manufacturing.
• National Diploma in Clothing Management, Fashion Design, Clothing Technology or a related field.
• Matric qualification.
• Clear criminal record.
• Own reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD pattern‑making systems, specifically Lectra.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction.
