About the role
A well-established parts and service business in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, is looking for a Stores Controller to run its parts store. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will plan, control, replenish and purchase parts so that the store stays accurate, organised and free of stock loss.
Key responsibilities
- Parts replenishment to agreed minimum levels and local purchasing
- Receiving, picking, packing and dispatch of parts
- Stores administration, transfers and control registers
- Stock counts, housekeeping and loss prevention
Required profile
- Matric; post-matric study is an advantage
- 5+ years in a stores environment, ideally parts or equipment
- Driver's licence and own transport
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach and pride in results
Required skills
- Stock control, replenishment planning and purchasing
- MS Excel and MS Word
- A stock or ERP system
- Forklift licence, or willingness to train
