Operations Trainer - Automotive Contact Centre

About the role

The Operations Trainer will be responsible for delivering product and technical training to staff within the automotive contact centre. You will ensure new hires, existing employees and cross‑functional teams receive high‑impact learning that supports operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver new‑starter, refresher, up‑skilling and cross‑skilling training sessions.
• Conduct assessments for all training events and provide remedial support before re‑assessment.
• Maintain accurate learner records in line with Ucademy requirements, including attendance registers and annual training reports.
• Update the operational skills matrix and ensure compliance with training documentation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12/Matric; tertiary qualification in training and development is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within an automotive environment.
• Strong facilitation, planning, time‑management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, exceptional administrative ability and a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team.
