Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in South Africa. The role oversees daily operational activities, ensuring efficient service delivery and alignment with quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational workflows and ensure efficient delivery of services.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and monitor performance metrics.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Manage resource planning, budgeting and cost‑control initiatives.
• Supervise staff, handle operational issues and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, planning and optimizing day‑to‑day processes.
• Experience in a multi‑disciplinary engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, including team supervision and staff development.
• Ability to work on‑site in South Africa, manage multiple priorities and make decisions under time pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management or a related field; relevant industry experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards.
