Operational Manager – Grain

About the role

We are seeking an Operational Manager – Grain to lead our grain operations within the Silo Operations Department. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality grain handling while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee grain handling processes to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Manage risks, finances and project delivery across the grain operation.
• Plan and coordinate workflow, equipment usage, maintenance and operational schedules.
• Lead and develop the grain operations team, fostering a performance‑driven culture.
• Maintain administrative systems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk, financial and project management within an operational setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Safety‑focused mindset with a commitment to compliance.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Excellent administrative and systems management skills.
