Online English Teacher – Adults (Up to 30 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic English teachers to deliver online lessons to adult learners. The position offers guaranteed teaching hours, a stable hourly rate, and the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live, interactive English lessons for adult students using provided curriculum.
• Follow lesson plans and teaching materials supplied by the company.
• Maintain a professional and engaging virtual classroom environment.
• Track student progress and provide feedback as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Accredited TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (minimum 120 hours).
• At least six months of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Reliable computer setup and a quiet, well‑lit workspace.

Required skills

• Computer with i5 processor (or better) and minimum 8 GB RAM.
• Stable fiber internet connection (20 Mbps upload/download) via LAN cable.
• UPS with at least 2000 VA capacity for backup power.
• Noise‑cancelling headset and HD webcam (optional backup headset).
