Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner

About the role

A full-day permanent opportunity exists for an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner at Life Health Solutions Clinic near Phokeng, North-West. The successful candidate works 40 hours a week and is responsible for delivering a quality, effective and efficient occupational health service that meets and exceeds clients' expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out occupational health medical examinations as required by law and by clients
• Assess workers' physical, psychological and social wellbeing in a safe working environment
• Track and compare employee health status year on year
• Provide clients with information to eliminate, control and minimise health risks and hazards
• Oversee and compile client reports
• Oversee finance functions within the clinic and work within budget
• Meet administrative needs on time and maintain client relationships
• Ensure compliance with Life's internal standards and legislative requirements

Required profile

• Registered as an Occupational Health Nurse with SANC
• Experience or qualification in occupational health (non-negotiable)
• Certificate in dispensing, audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and BLS
• Own transport will be required
• Results-oriented, customer-focused, team player with good verbal and written communication
