Nursing Practitioner – Clinic Services

About the role

The Nursing Practitioner will lead and grow a commercially viable clinic within Clicks Southgate, delivering a broad range of health services in line with South African Nursing Council regulations. You will ensure high‑quality patient care while managing clinic operations and promoting services to Clicks customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a loyal client base through effective promotion and exceptional patient service.
• Provide diverse clinic services including lifestyle screenings, well‑baby clinics, immunisations, reproductive health, primary care for minor ailments, wound care and phlebotomy.
• Counsel patients on health, weight management and refer to pharmacists or other professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic patient records and ensure payment collection for all services.
• Oversee clinic administration, locum bookings, financial reporting and stock management, including cold‑chain monitoring.
• Develop professional networks and coordinate health‑day events and ad‑hoc projects.
• Manage adverse events and emergencies professionally.

Required profile

• Registered Nursing Practitioner with the South African Nursing Council.
• Minimum three years of practical experience across community health, primary health or midwifery.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, integrity and ability to work independently.
• Customer‑service orientation, proactive attitude and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with pharmacy software such as Unisolv and Allegra.
