Night Nurse Manager (KPH)

About the role

The Night Nurse Manager will lead clinical nursing operations during night shifts at Kathu Private Hospital. This role ensures safe, cost‑effective patient care while coordinating a multidisciplinary team and aligning with Lenmed’s clinical governance strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the allocated nursing budget and understand healthcare financial fundamentals.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies to support sustainability and growth.
• Provide safe, evidence‑based patient care in line with clinical governance.
• Evaluate nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes.
• Promote health and wellbeing of patients and staff.
• Ensure infection prevention standards and standard precautions are followed.
• Implement group quality initiatives.

Required profile

• A relevant nursing qualification (B Cur Degree or equivalent management qualification).
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Compliance with the SANC code and applicable healthcare legislation.
• Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.
• Clinical expertise within your specialty.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (intermediate to advanced level).
