Network Security Specialist (Cloud Networking & IaC)

About the role

The Network Security Specialist will protect our hybrid network environment, spanning on-premises data centres and public clouds, by designing and implementing robust security controls. You will automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure-as-Code and ensure continuous compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage security solutions for hybrid networks across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, network segmentation, IAM and encryption to safeguard data in transit and at rest.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM and Ansible.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and adopt DevSecOps practices.
• Monitor threats with SIEM/SOAR platforms, perform traffic analysis and respond to incidents.
• Maintain container and Kubernetes security, and develop scripts for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, audits and ensure adherence to security standards and Zero-Trust principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in network and/or cloud security.
• Deep knowledge of routing, VLANs, VPNs and SD-WAN for hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with hybrid identity management and Zero-Trust architectures.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or Terraform Associate are preferred.
