Network Engineer – LAN/WAN & SD‑WAN Specialist

About the role

Join ICTENGAGE’s dynamic networking team and work on enterprise‑grade LAN, WAN and SD‑WAN projects. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while continuously expanding your technical expertise in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain LAN and WAN networks, including MPLS and SD‑WAN solutions.
• Manage wireless infrastructure (Cisco, UniFi, Ruckus) and core network devices such as routers and switches.
• Implement and troubleshoot network protocols (TCP/IP, ACLs, VPN, STP, VRRP) and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and apply industry‑best‑practice policies.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors, participate in on‑call rotations, and keep management informed of operational issues.
• Stay current with security threats, obtain new certifications, and contribute to documentation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with solid numeracy skills.
• Effective team player with good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple tasks autonomously.
• Passionate about delivering high‑quality results and escalating issues when needed.

Required skills

• LAN/WAN technologies – MPLS, SD‑WAN.
• Wireless platforms – Cisco, UniFi, Ruckus.
• Network devices – routers, switches.
• Network protocols – TCP/IP, ACLs, VPN, STP, VRRP.
• Dynamic routing – BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Network monitoring tools and alert handling.
• ITIL (certification preferred).
• CCNA, CCNP, MTCNA or equivalent certifications.
• Fortinet, Sophos or similar security system knowledge.
