Junior Network Support Engineer – Centurion

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Network Support Engineer to join our team in Centurion. The role involves supporting the daily operation of our network environment, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and firewall systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and firewall infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Manage firewall rules, security policies, VPN configurations and access controls.
• Perform network optimization, system hardening and ensure backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents.
• Provide technical support to clients, meet SLA targets and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Create and update network diagrams, documentation and generate performance and security reports.
• Identify improvement opportunities and participate in infrastructure projects.
