Multi-Skilled Consultant

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a Multi‑Skilled Consultant to deliver a positive customer experience across its product portfolio. You will act as the first point of contact, providing expert product knowledge, handling orders, and resolving issues while supporting sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced product and service information and answer basic customer queries.
• Record and process custom or special customer orders, managing ambiguous delivery expectations.
• Respond promptly to issue escalations and obtain managerial approvals when required.
• Make outbound calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships and generate sales leads.
• Enter follow‑up actions and relevant data into the CRM system to maintain high‑quality customer records.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements and capture detailed notes.
• Deliver exceptional service to encourage renewals and continued product usage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory codes, and procedural standards.
