About the role
The client is seeking an experienced Mine Overseer Development to lead and coordinate a mining team in Mpumalanga. This senior position focuses on overseeing development activities, ensuring safe and efficient production, and driving operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily mining operations and supervise the development team.
- Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate trackless and massive mining activities to meet output targets.
- Provide technical guidance and training to crew members.
- Report performance metrics to senior management.
Required profile
- Senior Certificate.
- Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a mine overseer in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of mining operations and production processes.
- Extensive experience with trackless and massive mining equipment.
