About the role

We are looking for a reliable Mechanical Fitter Assistant to support our client’s operations in the chemical and petrochemical sector. The role involves assisting senior fitters, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanical fitters with installation and maintenance tasks in a petrochemical/chemical environment.
• Perform routine mechanical maintenance and support workshop safety procedures.
• Work safely in confined spaces as required by project specifications.
• Operate a forklift when needed, provided a valid licence is held.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter Assistant in the petrochemical or chemical industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear criminal record and traceable references.
