Marketing Manager – Smart Buildings & Power Electrification

About the role

ABB is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive growth for its Smart Buildings (ELSB) and Smart Power Electrification (ELSP) businesses across Southern Africa. Reporting to the Marketing & Sales Manager, you will shape and execute integrated marketing communications that align with global, regional, and local strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing communication strategies that support business objectives.
• Plan, execute, and optimise multi‑channel campaigns (digital, events, trade media, print, sponsorships).
• Manage end‑to‑end campaign delivery, including content localisation, execution, and performance analysis.
• Generate and nurture leads through targeted initiatives and structured lead‑management processes.
• Maintain brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
• Define KPIs, track performance, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and global marketing teams to ensure alignment.
• Manage marketing budgets and deliver strong ROI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in marketing communications or campaign management.
• Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
• Experience working across multiple markets and adapting global strategies locally.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
