Marketing Assistant – Content, Social & Video (Part‑Time Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a creative Marketing Assistant to support a boutique consulting firm that specialises in personal branding. This part‑time, fully remote position focuses on producing and repurposing content across podcasts, social media, email newsletters and blogs to boost visibility and drive commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long‑form podcast episodes and create short‑form clips for LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
• Design on‑brand social assets (carousels, thumbnails, covers) and simple motion graphics using Canva.
• Repurpose content across channels – turn videos into shorts, transcripts into posts, and blogs into newsletters.
• Draft, format and publish blog posts on WordPress, applying basic on‑page SEO best practices.
• Build and schedule email newsletters, maintain list hygiene and review performance metrics.
• Schedule social posts and keep an organised content calendar to ensure consistent brand visibility.
• Perform light copy‑editing to align content with the established brand voice.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows while preserving human quality.
• Organise media libraries and collaborate with freelancers as needed.
• Track tasks and deadlines, providing clear progress updates.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in content creation, social media management or video editing, with a portfolio that demonstrates relevant work.
• Strong eye for design, storytelling and brand consistency across multiple channels.
• Hands‑on experience editing podcasts and short‑form video for LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube.
• Experience supporting founders, personal brands or B2B services is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Canva proficiency.
• Video editing with Descript, Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• WordPress publishing and basic on‑page SEO.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, ConvertKit or Klaviyo.
