About the role

The Manager, Internal Communication for Personal & Private Banking will shape and deliver a compelling internal marketing and communications strategy across South Africa. You will ensure clear, consistent, and impactful engagement that aligns employees with business priorities and drives performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an internal communications strategy for Personal and Private Banking.
• Partner with business portfolios to plan, scope and deliver multi‑channel campaigns.
• Translate business strategy and change initiatives into engaging employee narratives.
• Manage employee engagement platforms, digital channels, leadership communications and campaign‑based initiatives.
• Coordinate across geographies to ensure consistent messaging and brand activation.

Required profile

• Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal communications, brand or marketing roles within a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to craft clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Strong writing and editing skills with experience tailoring messages across channels.
• Experience managing digital employee engagement platforms and leadership communications.
