Group Marketing Manager

About the role

DigiCars Group is reshaping South Africa's automotive retail through a "phygital" model that blends physical showrooms with a digital‑first sales engine. As Group Marketing Manager you will lead the marketing function across multiple OEM brands, driving growth in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute group‑wide marketing strategies that support revenue growth and dealership profitability.
• Manage brand standards, corporate identity compliance and OEM relationships for multiple automotive brands.
• Oversee marketing budgets, analyse campaign performance and optimise return on investment.
• Drive lead generation, funnel optimisation and conversion in close partnership with the sales team.
• Design customer acquisition, retention and loyalty programmes to increase repeat business.
• Lead, mentor and performance‑manage the marketing team to deliver measurable results.
• Implement new technologies, automation and AI solutions to enhance marketing effectiveness.

Required profile

• Honours Bachelor degree or equivalent in Marketing (retail‑focused experience mandatory).
• Chartered Marketing qualification or membership of DMASA is a plus.
• Proven experience in digital marketing and SEO, preferably within an automotive or retail context.
• Strong background in budget management and strategic execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
