Management Couple – Lodge Operations (Hazyview)

About the role

A lodge in the Hazyview‑Sabie area of Mpumalanga is looking for a dynamic couple to jointly manage daily operations and maintain high guest‑service standards. The role combines hands‑on maintenance leadership with front‑of‑house administration, offering a live‑in accommodation package.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily lodge operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and overall property upkeep.
• Supervise front‑office activities, reservations, and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate between maintenance and guest‑service teams to guarantee smooth workflow.
• Lead and schedule staff, maintaining operational efficiency and lodge standards.

Required profile

• RSA ID and legal residence in South Africa.
• Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management.
• Strong teamwork and communication as a couple.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Male partner: extensive hands‑on maintenance background (electrical, plumbing, general repairs) and ability to run preventive maintenance programmes.
• Female partner: front‑of‑house expertise, guest‑relations, administration, reservations and basic financial reporting.

What we offer

• Salary range R30,000 – R40,000 per month (negotiable, based on experience).
