Maintenance Supervisor – Malmesbury

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our FMCG plant in Malmesbury. The role ensures equipment reliability, plant efficiency and strict adherence to safety, quality and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Prioritise work orders, allocate tasks and monitor timely completion.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate job cards, maintenance records and downtime reports.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate maintenance staff, overseeing performance, attendance and work quality.
• Uphold housekeeping standards in all maintenance areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SHEQ, food‑safety and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Participate in on‑call standby duties as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Qualified Mechanical or Electrical trade (Millwright, Fitter & Turner or Electrician).
• 3–5 years of engineering/maintenance experience in an FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, food‑safety standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
