About the role
The Logistics Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for all shipping orders and enquiries, ensuring every customer interaction is handled proactively and professionally. The role involves managing daily operational tasks to meet and exceed customer expectations while complying with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage end‑to‑end shipment routes locally and internationally.
- Verify all paperwork before collection to prevent controllable delays.
- Monitor shipments in transit, keep clients, shippers and consignees updated, and resolve issues promptly.
- Create and maintain accurate job records in the Rodon TMS system, including notes for billing and drivers.
- Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams for scheduled collections, exports, imports and deliveries.
- Handle import/export documentation, submit customs paperwork on time, and communicate pre‑alerts to agents.
- Manage packaging supplies, including bulk resupply, reusable packaging returns, and temperature monitor configuration.
- Record deviations, non‑conformance reports and customer complaints in the Rodon TMS system.
Required profile
- Proactive and professional communication style.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to react flexibly to shipment deviations.
- Organised approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, agents and service providers.
Required skills
- Experience with the Rodon TMS system.
- Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations.
