About the role
The client in Marble Hall is seeking a proactive Logistic Coordinator to manage the flow of goods and ensure timely deliveries to customers. This role is central to maintaining efficient transport operations and supporting cost‑effective logistics solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Receive purchase orders and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor accurate and timely shipment deliveries.
- Coordinate shipments and place purchase orders with transport agents.
- Maintain up‑to‑date shipment schedules and records.
- Monitor changing demands and respond promptly.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential transport challenges or disruptions.
- Manage transport expenditure, seek cost reductions, and assist in selecting transport agents.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in logistics or at least two years of relevant experience.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
