Local SEO Project Manager – Remote (WordPress, GMB, Citations)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Local SEO Project Manager to lead high‑volume local search campaigns for a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑sized businesses. The role blends hands‑on SEO execution with strong project‑management discipline, allowing you to impact hundreds of client sites while refining scalable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute local SEO campaigns across multiple industries and locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math and Yoast.
• Optimize Google Business Profiles to improve map‑pack visibility.
• Build, audit, and clean up business citations on major local directories.
• Implement on‑page and technical optimizations to boost local rankings and conversions.
• Monitor performance, track rankings, analyze data, and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate recurring SEO tasks to ensure timely, consistent, and high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing local SEO campaigns at scale, preferably in an agency or multi‑location environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
