The International Hotel School Durban Campus seeks a passionate Lecturer in Hospitality Management to inspire and guide eager students. You will share industry knowledge, support individual growth, and influence future career paths in the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate lectures and practical sessions in hospitality management.
• Develop and update curriculum and assessment materials in line with industry standards.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Maintain accurate records, grading, and administrative documentation.
• Collaborate with industry partners to enhance learning experiences.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Hospitality – essential.
• Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Hospitality.
• Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor – beneficial.
• Scope by CATHSSETA – beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant, practical industry experience.
• At least 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hospitality‑related computer software.
• Strong administrative abilities.
