Lecturer – Accounting, Finance & Financial Management

About the role

STADIO Higher Education is seeking a full‑time Lecturer to teach accounting, finance and financial management on its Centurion campus. The appointment is fixed‑term until 31 December 2026 and combines on‑site teaching with limited remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and blended learning sessions in accounting, finance and financial management.
• Design, mark and moderate assessments, ensuring quality assurance.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Contribute to curriculum development, review and transformation.
• Engage in research, publish accredited work and supervise postgraduate projects.
• Participate in academic citizenship activities, community engagement and industry liaison.
• Support institutional initiatives such as internationalisation and peer collaboration.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to lecture effectively in a blended contact and online environment.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and conflict‑management skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines and demonstrate passion for teaching.
