Learning Architect – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Learning Architect to redesign leadership development for a major financial services organisation. Over a six‑month fixed‑term, you will create enterprise‑wide frameworks that connect learning to business outcomes and embed measurement from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable leadership capability solutions across all leadership layers (frontline, middle management, senior and executive).
• Architect three flagship leadership programmes that are capability‑led, application‑driven and measurement‑by‑design.
• Develop end‑to‑end learning journeys blending formal, digital, blended, social, augmented and experience‑based learning.
• Build enterprise measurement frameworks tracking learning transfer, behavioural application, business value and ROI.
• Translate leadership strategy into delivery‑ready learning solutions, including programme blueprints, facilitator guides and assessment tools.
• Partner with business leaders, HR, Learning CoEs and analytics teams to ensure alignment and impact.
• Manage vendors and learning partners, and drive continuous improvement, governance and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing large‑scale learning architectures, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of behavioural science, adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Ability to work across strategy, design and execution while influencing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and ROI.
