About the role
The Learning and Development Clerk provides clerical and training administrative support to the Learning and Development (L&D) department and Tharisa Minerals employees. The role ensures the integrity of training data, maintains effective document control, and supports smooth departmental operations.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, monitor and maintain all training records, including attendance registers and assessments.
- Guide learners to the correct classrooms or facilities for training sessions.
- Scan and file training records for each intervention, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain a 5S data management system in the storage room for efficient organisation and accessibility.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports on training activities and outcomes for management review.
- Review and confirm completion of training requirements before printing certificates and licenses.
- Print, distribute and update records of certificates and licenses, tracking dates and recipients.
- Link equipment and relevant access to employees/contractors via the online database after training completion.
- File and safeguard all training documents for easy retrieval.
- Take accurate minutes during L&D meetings and distribute decisions and action items.
- Support the L&D team in preparing reports and gathering necessary data.
- Use data management systems such as SAGE 300 and MQA I‑Sh.
